As I pen this down, my www.terrygallyot.com domain and website has basically gone to the bin!
When TM Net informed it's subscribers that all of us will be getting a free speed upgrade, We were all excited to know of this.
Obviously, I was, as I was a long time subscriber to their "Office in a Box" plan that basically supports the telephone, internet, web domain and hosting and two more other services that's now defunct (email & cloud space).
Well, since they gave us the upgrade in internet speed, they also took away the domain hosting program without us being notified.(Yes I am very sure I was not notified) When the technician was about to get it sorted out, I actually asked them if NO interruption will occur and they kept reassuring me...No worries..only the speed is faster...everything remains the same.
Boy! Was I in for a surprise!!!
Those clowns that reassured me no interruption will happen....LET INTERRUPTION HAPPEN !!!
Not only did they stop hosting my website, they allowed my domain name to slip right through into someone else's possession now! (of which I've had for nearly a decade for myself and my business info) .
Pissed off? YES!!! VERY MUCH !!!
So as you read this, I am in the process of terminating my contract with Streamyx (TM Net) to opt for something else.
Be very careful with these Blood Suckers when you're offered special upgrades !!!
